Do I have to find my own group of six to 10?

No. We can accommodate up to 10 guests. Whether it is five groups of two, or three groups of three. This is a great way to get your own group to go, or be adventurous and meet new people who have similar interests.

Do you transport handicapped/wheelchair guests?

Nebraska Wine Tours arranges with wineries throughout the State of Nebraska for tours of their facilities.  Customers are cautioned that the principal activity at each tour stop may involve extended hiking over challenging terrain upon unimproved earthen trails through vineyards requiring a moderate degree of physical exertion and pedestrian dexterity.

What is your cancellation policy?

The full cost of a tour is due at the time of booking. Tours cancelled 15 days or more prior to departure shall be entitled to a refund, less a 25% cancellation fee.  No refunds will be made thereafter.  Travel insurance may be available through travel agencies.

What is a wine tasting?

A wine tasting is an opportunity to try a variety of wine one ounce at a time. Depending on which winery you are at, you are able to try four to five different wines.

How do I know what type of wine I might like?

There are several varieties of wine ranging from sweet to dry. If you have never tried much wine, we recommend you try the full spectrum to find what your palate prefers.

Where do tours start?

Since Nebraska wineries span the state and our tours are day trips, we meet in a general location as a starting and ending point. If you have your own group of 10, we can sometimes arrange pick-up from a location of your choice. Contact us for more details.

What if I want to take a tour, not in my hometown, do you have recommendations for where to stay after the tour?

We have several partners in all parts of the state. We can recommend the perfect accommodations for you, whether you prefer a hotel or bed and breakfast. Contact us for more details.

Do you offer food with a tour?

Complimentary bottled water is available to drink between wineries. It is important to keep your palate clean so you are ready to taste wine at each location. Most wineries offer food for purchase or you can feel free to bring your own cooler along in the van.

What type of vehicle is used to travel to the wineries?

We transport in a comfortable 12-passenger van.

How many people will be on a tour with me?

We will never have more than 10 people at a time. Our tours focus on the total experience, and a small group is the best way to get that experience.

What if I just want to ride along, do I have to pay the whole fee?

While our tour price includes tasting fees, those fees are only a small percentage of the price. Our tours are an experience in which our customers do not have to do the leg work of planning and transportation. Along with that, our tours offer exclusive access to each winery, along with interesting information about the Nebraska wine industry. We recommend each guest try wine at each location, however, if you are certain you do not want any wine contact us for more details.

How and when do I pay for a tour?

You can pay on our website through PayPal or we can send you an invoice. The full cost of a tour is due at the time of booking. Tours cancelled 15 days or more prior to departure shall be entitled to a refund, less a 25% cancellation fee.  No refunds will be made thereafter.  Travel insurance may be available through travel agencies.
